Second Day has merged with Progressive Pipeline!
We’re excited to announce that Second Day has joined forces with Progressive Pipeline, another leader in social impact workforce development! Progressive Pipeline places underrepresented candidates in paid roles at social change groups. Then, they offer Fellows the training, mentorship, and connections they need to become tomorrow’s leaders — this description alone makes it clear how fundamentally aligned our two organizations are.
Progressive Pipeline has built robust infrastructure and a strong community of changemakers; Second Day has developed years of impactful professional development and a new generation of mission-driven professionals. Together, we’ll run two Fellowship programs with a unified goal — to make meaningful careers in the social impact space more accessible, expand talent development opportunities, and provide partner organizations with Fellows to boost their operating capacity.
Second Day as a brand and our programming will continue to exist as it always has. Although it will live under the umbrella of Progressive Pipeline, we will continue to be nonpartisan and our hallmark program––the Second Day Impact Fellowship––won’t change its name.
